There is little rhyme or reason to this blog. As of yet, I haven’t settled on any type of ‘date a week’ or ‘how to lose a guy in 10 days’ challenge, though both are tempting. You will mostly find here an interesting display of the amazingly diverse dating subjects and experiences that L.A. has to offer and my inability to find someone with whom I can make it past the two month mark.
I am trying to overcome my tendency to give false hope by feigning enthusiasm for someone who I have no interest in seeing again because it’s easier than being honest. I am also trying to identify and break down my deeply rooted tendency to inwardly mock so many things about other people. Why does sincerity and earnestness make me cringe? Should the fact that someone had the misfortune of being named Richard really be a deal breaker? Maybe a sarcastic blog isn’t the best way to accomplish this, but we’ll see.
